Cast on for my niece in a stripy yarn she admires every time she’s in my craft room. Will block out long so she can tie it in the back like a shrug.
added short rows to each side before the last set of eyelets so it was longer and made it have a little more options for Leah to style.

Started on the diagonal and added random stripes of doubled Shine + Sparkles. Did the yarns doubled for the fringe as well. Simple and easy!

adapted to add a seed stitch button panel to the Barley pattern. bought the buttons at OFFF with the hope to make this hat and then found the yarn on destash 🙂
worked on this during knitting on Wednesday night, and the increases just didn’t look right: my marker was in the wrong place! And I didn’t do the increases for the cuff section correctly, so I ripped and started again. This is so much better, I’m using tips from the BSJ wiki page here on ravelry…
holding two deep stash yarns together – brown sheep wildfoote and then either Knit Picks Shine Sport in Fuschia or Silver for some really basic stripes and and all over “sprinkle” design!
