KAL with karen (ballke) with my FruJu, pick another coordinating color for top.
Prototype for a shawl with dropped stitches. Inspired by the colorway name “Decay”, the pattern shows an urban skyline that may be decaying from the earth after an apocalyptic event. Deep and full of colors, the yarn fit the whole idea perfect.
This was a delightful way to learn basic entrelac. I really like how it turned out, and the colors make me happy every time I wipe off the counter.
Started February 11th so I’d have it going to bring to knit-in that night. Worked on it alternating with my Stripey socks, until the needle broke. Then it was “all-wrap, all the time”. Finished on a Saturday afternoon 10 days after starting. It was a wonderful lace pattern, especially after I charted it out so…
Started toe-up, with Judy’s magic cast-on and 12 stitches; increasing up to my standard 72 before starting the lace pattern from Cotty. Hope to do a toe-up gusset heel to make it match.
