knitting a shorter short one to use up this small skein of handspun and participate in the Yarnings Podcast knitalong! started with about 19g, ended with 1g. wound the rest on my little niddy noddy, about 14yds left. did less repeats of each of the 4 motifs.
I love this pattern and purchased tan, green, and plum colored yarn for it. Started mid-September. Update: Finished sock one on October 16th. Updated 2/08: I’m about 1/2 done with the second sock. HIBERNATING. I’m tired of these! My guage is looser than I’d like, the weaving of the yarn for the stripes takes more…
current top contender for new BT Silken 200g 1450yds Cloud Layers.
i have 5 skeins to the Wonder Woman set. Stripes are closer together on the underbust because I want to use the entire skein of ruby black (it will probably also be a bottoms edging for sleeves and the bottom of the skirt.)
Ripped out one end that was too ruffled and redid it 1.5 years later 😀
