This was SUCH a fun project. Making all the small pieces was fun, and even sewing it together was easy. A little time consuming, but not hard in front of the TV. I’d certainly make this again if there were a special little kid in my life who liked Turtles!
My only modification from the pattern was to use embroidery thread for the eyes instead of buttons since Leonard’s still so little.
I love how the colors turned out together, too! Yay for Knit Picks!

finished the first diagonal stripe and found it would be hard to do the short rows after the stripe two at a time (2AAT). hibernating while I decide if I want to do them one at a time.

guessing on the usage of dogwood and magenta simply cotton, didn’t take weights of what was there to start.
March 26, 2016 did more stripes progressively each stripe section, with the final stripe section use the rest of the Galactic. April 14, 2016 added a few random stripes at the end!
pattern is not in database yet. need to weigh remainder yarn, it was about 3 1/2 skeins. May or may not do the flower, may also add a ribbon to the top to tie. listed September 18, 2010.
