the yarn traveled to me from Peru, the project will travel with me to Minnesota and Illinois, and I’ll knit on it with traveling through the wool warp to talk to friends online. well traveled, indeed! followed tips for widening neck opening and later the beading from mirielgw’s Beaded Viajante. using backwards loop and reverse…
I started with the pattern for Pioneer and did the bottom part of it differently with a waistband done by picking up stitches vertically. I did the skirt twice because I was unhappy with how much increase I did the first time. Used more crochet on this than I thought I could!
2 swiffer covers out of deep stash cotton on a cone. one knit with JMCO two ends at a time then kitchenered in the middle; other is a flat piece that sticks into the holes on the extra large swiffer. will add more here as I knit them!
