Started for knitting on my Bday extravaganza, which took us to the beach this year. They look like birthday cupcake colors! Knit during the drive AND on the beach with my toes in the sand. Did my standard toe, Judy’s magic cast on with 12 stitches; 2 at a time on 2 circs on my…
Adjusted to use two colors and did both colors on the edge for a fancy transition. Provisional cast on and kitchnered together. first try was too small, so that was saved for Liam’s baby.
Crocheted finish around CO and 2 sides.
This is a top down, set in sleeve opening, open front flowing vest, using a Fade-like concept to transition between colors. using math from The Handy Book of Top Down Sweaters by AnnBudd and the measurements I used that fit well from the Meris. starting with Wisteria, held double, for the top of the shoulders….
My first magic loop for two at a time, so I could use my chiaogoo interchangeables. 4×4 rib, increased to 5×4 rib. changed to stockinette except one set of rib lines, where I played with some cables at the top of the leg warmer. Intention is to wear these with exercise socks and walking shoes…
short sleeve, cuffs and button band using the dyed yarn. rest will be handspun, alternating skeins.
