used the rest of my sock yarn to make a wrap bracket. mostly 5-stitch I-cord with a cool crochet chain (thicker by sc in each previous stitch) at the end and a loop for easier wearing. couldn’t let my fav colorway go to waste even though the socks were done!
Learning to double-knit. Used two strands of different multi-colors. Cast on with two strands held together and then started double-knitting. Bound off with two strands on the wrong side to have the same effect on the border. Improved decreases by rearranging stitches as in cable-needle-free cables. Added eyelet row similarly – the ribbon is threaded…
Knit with Willow held double until 40g remained. Knit with Willow and Yarnings until Willow is gone (65 remains in Yarnings) Knit with Yarnings held double until 35g remained, but start decrease rows midway through at 50g – actual was 47. Frogged August 21.
testing out an older pattern I created!
Started toe-up, with Judy’s magic cast-on and 12 stitches; increasing up to my standard 72 before starting the lace pattern from Cotty. Hope to do a toe-up gusset heel to make it match.
