Basic dishcloth
This is the easiest dishcloth pattern, it knits up super quick and is really nice to use in the kitchen or give as gifts. I added stripes of a variegated yarn with a white base to give it a little extra specialness.

This was a delightful way to learn basic entrelac. I really like how it turned out, and the colors make me happy every time I wipe off the counter.
This is another prototype dishcloth that I’m working on for potential publication for the pattern. It uses right twists (RT) to create a cool line through the pattern that reminds me of willow branches. Update, 2/18/08: I have one of these done in Westport, and I’m working on improving the pattern again so that RTs…
This is a prototype for a dishcloth. I’d like to write it up as a pattern, but first I’d like to make some adjustments to make the center hole smaller. I love how the long “rays” of sun go around.
Before going on a trip, I wanted to have something to cushion my phone with. After trying a few yarn combinations, I finally came up with something fun and soft and a little stretchy. The butterfly kisses makes it a little crazier than I was thinking but that’s okay, I can’t loose it this way…
These were my “knit at the beach” project while on vacation. I finished the second one once we got home. I used the general concept of the Mason Dixon bibs (CO 40, straps are 10), but I didn’t have the pattern with me, so I just guessed how long to make the bib and the…
I made two dischlothes with this pattern for my sister Lisa – one with the Playtime colorway exclusively. I did most of the knitting on this one in the airport and airplane while flying to San Francisco. Then I made a second one by casting on Playtime and switching to Daily Ombre for the rest…
I modified this pattern to be smaller since he was a preemie. I also carried a strand of Bernat Softee to make it use more of the color out of the booties that went along with it as a gift. I omitted the pompom and the top looked beautiful without it.
A quick knit because I needed them for a baby shower. This was my first time using very small needles, and my first time making booties at all. They turned out good, even though I accidentally modified the pattern slightly!
Came up with this pattern on my own, and then got coordinating fabric for a lining. The knitting is done, I’m just sewing lines into the lining where the needles will go now.
