gauge swatch relaxed just a touch (25st/4” to 24st/4”, while pattern called for 26). Started on the diagonal and added random stripes of doubled Shine + Sparkles. Did the yarns doubled for the fringe as well. Simple and easy!
improvised. double i-cord edge, garter, light lace, cables, picked up for 2 color brioche. improved skills in casting on in pattern and kitchener in pattern. bound off with italian bind off from Brioche Chic book’s version of the instructions.
Finally using one of the sock summit yarns I loved. I think this pattern will make these socks usable in my new Danskos. I got 10st/in and am re-kajiggering things to make that work. must weight remainder yarn to see how much was really left. Pattern was delightful, once I adjusted for my gauge. Yarn…
