cell phone cozy

Before going on a trip, I wanted to have something to cushion my phone with. After trying a few yarn combinations, I finally came up with something fun and soft and a little stretchy. The butterfly kisses makes it a little crazier than I was thinking but that’s okay, I can’t loose it this way 🙂

I held a strand of each together and made a long rectangle. Then I used the end to stitch it together. Because of the stretch, it was still a little too big, so I stitched a ribbon in. The same ribbon is on the edge of my phone, so this matched well and gives one more thing to grab onto when digging in the purse for my phone.

Updated Feb 08: I made a matching sunglass case with the Shine and Trampoline (minus Butterfly Kisses) and this was really nice and soft and protective. I made it a little big, and my headache drugs fit in with it.
