A quick knit because I needed them for a baby shower. This was my first time using very small needles, and my first time making booties at all. They turned out good, even though I accidentally modified the pattern slightly!

gauge is 6 st/in, between fingering and DK on needles in between those as well. Casting on the fingering size 12mo and it will just be slightly big so she can wear it longer probably doing short sleeves.

Used the idea from puckgirl in Yarnings thread: Yarn Ball Cozy from a CD canister. E found me a 100 CD spindle case. Started with round crochet base very dense to fit just under the size of the canister. Then started a loose pattern into the base and around. Switched colors as I went to…
