Finally making socks out of the yarn from Sock Summit 2011! Found this pattern/recipe on Just One More Row’s stripey sock threads. Used my normal JMCO + Cat Bordhi toe, 2 at a time on 2 circs. Learned the Sweet Tomato heel. Bound off with a picot bind off. Submitted to Knitabulls stripey sock knitalong
Notes see note on ittybitty for my recipe. leftovers from a shawl a few years back, my first ever sparkle yarn! if that doesn’t spread joy and a “spark”, I don’t know what would.
see note on ittybitty for my recipe. Used leftovers from Tau’ri (Gemini) sweater including a little white in the top with a touch of a ruffle.
from the thread: Used the yarn and needles at hand to make a tiny sock out of leftover Sweet Georgia sock yarn and size 1.5 needles. Cast on 8 with Judy’s Magic Cast on, and increased up to 16. Knit the foot for a few rows, and did a toe-up heel flap. Turned to heel,…
Prototype + JOMR striped knitalong (aug-sept), Yarniacs fingering knitalong (8/31). showing pics of only non design elements intentionally for now. need to weave ends still, 9/1.

Started for Madrona trip. 2.5mm needles were just too loose after completing the toe. Bought 2.25 Chiagaoo needles while there and started again. Much better! Adjusting the pattern to match my gauge and the yarn being slightly lighter. Plus, doing them toe-up. used TDTU heel from @KnittingRN, and started rib in center of the rows…
improving to be toe-up. toe is upside down, using kfb as the increases. Added a few extra stitches to the bottom of the foot to account for the slightly lighter yarn. heel will be garter short row (see http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/garter-toes)
