Finally making socks out of the yarn from Sock Summit 2011! Found this pattern/recipe on Just One More Row’s stripey sock threads. Used my normal JMCO + Cat Bordhi toe, 2 at a time on 2 circs. Blossom Rain
Started for Madrona trip. 2.5mm needles were just too loose after completing the toe. Bought 2.25 Chiagaoo needles while there and started again. Much better! Adjusting the pattern to match my gauge and the yarn being slightly lighter. Plus, doing them toe-up. used TDTU heel from @KnittingRN, and started rib in center of the rows…

improving to be toe-up. toe is upside down, using kfb as the increases. Added a few extra stitches to the bottom of the foot to account for the slightly lighter yarn. heel will be garter short row (see http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/garter-toes)
