yarn from 2 years ago at OFFF. Started for knitting on Portland adventure. finished and put in my suitcase w/o weaving in ends even! pics to come. (Wove in ends the day I wore them on vacation!)
Lining with dark fabric with a golden thread through it. Still need to make handles and sew them on.
Knit with Willow held double until 40g remained. Knit with Willow and Yarnings until Willow is gone (65 remains in Yarnings) Knit with Yarnings held double until 35g remained, but start decrease rows midway through at 50g – actual was 47. Frogged August 21.
gauge in size 8 instead of 6. Planning to knit a vest instead of sleeves. The edging color is Kitty Pride Fibers sport weight base (this base of theirs is not in ravelry) from Rina. Worn for Halloween 2020.
This was a delightful way to learn basic entrelac. I really like how it turned out, and the colors make me happy every time I wipe off the counter.
inspired by ploverbird’s, seen at ZK2014. Knitting in ThreeFates at the same time as her giveaway on the Yarnings Podcast. a girl wizard is named in homage to Eskarina from Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett… the yarn colorway is Merlin so it fits in. Began in April to celebrate my birthday month! Also fits nicely…
