found out (after completing the heel) i had dropped a stitch in the foot! I had somewhere increased to compensate but the little stitch was hanging out waiting for me. I put a stitch marker through it and it was good for the rest of the knitting and then I just tacked it down inside with an extra piece of thread. all better!

Bought a selection of colors seen in nature and supplemented it with what was left in my baby yarn stash of the same base. Picked hexagons for being from the “Bee” family and game inspired because a lot of board games use hexes too. Most of the hexagons are a unique set of 3 colors….

September 6, 2016 44st on top gradually, 40 bottom (full set of increases, 2 top/2 bottom, at 6 1/4”) heel at 7 1/8” (instead of 7 1/4” because of 40st instead of 38). FLKH 1-13-12-13-1 October 27, 2017 increased twice on front of sock. total stitches…
