confusion over the right side and wrong side of the chart and I had to restart after 6 or 7 rows because the chart wasn’t making sense. restarted with written instructions – even rows are right side.
cast on with German twisted cast-on (like Rikke) because it shines with feather and fan.
the coquette is the plain stockinette rows between the feather and fan + garter ridge rows of the spectrum.

I did a mix of colors for this rather than a solid – For cast on and bind off, I held 3 strands of red. For most of the potholder, 3 strands of white. Towards the middle, it’s 2 white, 1 red. And the very middle stripe is 2 red, 1 white. This was mainly…
holding two deep stash yarns together – brown sheep wildfoote and then either Knit Picks Shine Sport in Fuschia or Silver for some really basic stripes and and all over “sprinkle” design!
pattern is not in database yet. need to weigh remainder yarn, it was about 3 1/2 skeins. May or may not do the flower, may also add a ribbon to the top to tie. listed September 18, 2010.
