Cast on like I was doing a Tier of Ruffles and then changed it as I’ve gone along. Seems like it will turn into a boat-neck shape with a ribbon, and then float out from there with increases. Found Ribbon in my stash and turned down the edge to sew the ribbon inside. Blocking nicely.
Started out doing bottom up with plans to kitchener, but then my cast on wasn’t as pretty as I liked, so I flipped it on end and seamed up the cast on edge for the top. did several tack stitches to define the ears. It’s a little loose after wearing all day, but not bad….
using the lace from the low tide cardi to make a necklace length cowl to wrap around as many times as there is yarn. I had half a skein left after the low tide, and I love how the Madelinetosh TML shows off in this stitch.
Using some of the leftover yarn from the Stripey Steeky Blanket. Knit during baby shower and while Lisa was in labor to send my positive energy towards her. Plus, while waiting to meet her for the first time. They turned out kinda manta-ray-ish as I wasn’t paying full attention to the increases and decreases. Delivered…
