Cast on provisionally from the row before the armholes. Used JMCO and a second needle which I kept in the work while I knit upwards. Did the armhole bind off, knit the back, front, and both straps. Then returned to the stitches on the holder needles, and on the front of the honeycomb, added a few more stitches in the center to increase the amount of gathering to more nicely smooth over my tummy. began alternating and did this at the end of the first skein into the second skein, did a section of just the second, and then transitioned into the third – they were different enough that this was key. did some waist decreases and increases on the back as I moved downward. knit until I almost ran out of yarn!

Decided early on that this multicolor might look blotchy with the icord, and then also to give the tank as much length as possible without having to safe any yardage for the icord, I’d use a coordinating color in my stash.

if I were to do this again, I’d knit the next size down to make it slightly tighter in the top bodice area.
