inspired by ploverbird’s, seen at ZK2014. Knitting in ThreeFates at the same time as her giveaway on the Yarnings Podcast. a girl wizard is named in homage to Eskarina from Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett… the yarn colorway is Merlin so it fits in. Began in April to celebrate my birthday month! Also fits nicely…

this is some yarn remnant from Heather. knit 3 of them, one wasn’t quite to pattern because I didn’t look up the directions for the front post versions until a row after the first time I used it! FPSC picot ch3
this is only 360yds, so it will be a little shorter than suggested unless I decide to use a contrast color for the bottom edge. Chose other deep stash as complementary color. Amy ToadyJoe said it reminded her of a cherry blossom tree in bloom and I have to agree! size 6. BO 4/26/2013
Knit on these over the thanksgiving trip, a few knit nights, and I’m just still not feeling it. Ripping to reuse the yarn for a baby sweater I think. 11/20: ripped again and cast on again, this time doing the chart not upside down; better but yarn striping isn’t showing things off to full effect….
Started February 11th so I’d have it going to bring to knit-in that night. Worked on it alternating with my Stripey socks, until the needle broke. Then it was “all-wrap, all the time”. Finished on a Saturday afternoon 10 days after starting. It was a wonderful lace pattern, especially after I charted it out so…
