This is a prototype for a dishcloth. I’d like to write it up as a pattern, but first I’d like to make some adjustments to make the center hole smaller. I love how the long “rays” of sun go around.

using size 6 needles and heavy laceweight for a lightweight version of the Wren for a sample at the Designer Showcase for the Zombie Knitpocalypse 2014.
Using my stripey pattern for a pair for me.
unblocked gauge: 24st/4” x 17rows/2” blocked gauge: 23st/4” x 18rows/2” sizing due to gauge being looser (and liking the fabric), sizing down. the 42” size should make a 45.5” (262st5.75 in new gauge). Bust measurement is 44 1/2. Cast on for 42”. Knit anytime it has a distance, use 46” size. 12 increases for armhole…

with the lavender heather from happy knits used 2nd color for all the purl bump segments – changed color one row before purl row and then one row after the final purl row. used the tip of another raveler (oceansong) of provisionally casting on, and then knitting the turning together with the picked up stitches….
