mixed weights – worsted, sport, sport-ish handspun. gauge on worsted was a touch tight, so went up in stitch count from the biggest size, and knit the back a little longer. rather than welts for the rows, knit in garter. added short rows surrounding the top of the vest to add more length without adding…

using the lace from the low tide cardi to make a necklace length cowl to wrap around as many times as there is yarn. I had half a skein left after the low tide, and I love how the Madelinetosh TML shows off in this stitch.
this is only 360yds, so it will be a little shorter than suggested unless I decide to use a contrast color for the bottom edge. Chose other deep stash as complementary color. Amy ToadyJoe said it reminded her of a cherry blossom tree in bloom and I have to agree! size 6. BO 4/26/2013
