I made a set of potholders for my mom for Christmas.
use vesper, but get smaller needles since it’s 100% merino, no nylon. reinforcing center of bottom of the sole with slip stitch ala eye of partridge. with super tight gauge, came up with a larger stitch count than the large size to get the right diameter for my feet. this slowed me down but will…
looks like a really super way to make simple socks look even nicer. I’m making the repeats closer for the eyelets. Update: I enjoyed this pattern. I like that the two socks have eyelets in different directions, but the tightness of the ssk sock isn’t quite as nice as the k2tog. It’s not so noticeable…
another prototype for using my slip stitch slant, and to use the leftovers from my Harmonize shawl. Love how this pooled!
meant for a baby toy, didn’t come out as large as I hoped, so now it will be a present topper if I finish in time.
