A quick knit because I needed them for a baby shower. This was my first time using very small needles, and my first time making booties at all. They turned out good, even though I accidentally modified the pattern slightly!
This was a delightful way to learn basic entrelac. I really like how it turned out, and the colors make me happy every time I wipe off the counter.
I started with the pattern for Pioneer and did the bottom part of it differently with a waistband done by picking up stitches vertically. I did the skirt twice because I was unhappy with how much increase I did the first time. Used more crochet on this than I thought I could!
Prototype for a shawl with dropped stitches. Inspired by the colorway name “Decay”, the pattern shows an urban skyline that may be decaying from the earth after an apocalyptic event. Deep and full of colors, the yarn fit the whole idea perfect.
This should look pretty in the Risata Baby Doll that I got last shipment. Make Toe-up, though. May 27: Cast on with Judy’s Cast-on. Increased slightly between the toe and arch. Used the lace pattern from Spring Forward, but made up the rest of the pattern on the fly. I did patterning on the short…
