A springy happy version of Urbanity. The Lilt Sock is slightly lighter than the Trinity Sock, so it made a more airy fabric, by just a touch. The silk makes it luxurious. The drop stitches worked up so nice in this yarn too.
looks like a really super way to make simple socks look even nicer. I’m making the repeats closer for the eyelets. Update: I enjoyed this pattern. I like that the two socks have eyelets in different directions, but the tightness of the ssk sock isn’t quite as nice as the k2tog. It’s not so noticeable…
mods – increased the number of pattern rows to optimize usage of the skeins on hand of my handspun. 1 skein orange+orange, 2 skein orange+pink, 1 skein pink+pink increased the number of repeats in orange+pink to use more. needs blocking.
made 2 scarves from 1 skein; one is shorter without crochet border.
co 14 each side, JMCO. two at a time on two circs. increase up to 36 each side. increase on top of foot 2 times each end of needle twice, then 2 more times rapidly at the end of the foot length. knit to 7 3/8” long before heel. heel over 36st: 1-11-12-11-1.
testing out an older pattern I created!
