Came up with this pattern on my own, and then got coordinating fabric for a lining. The knitting is done, I’m just sewing lines into the lining where the needles will go now.

I found some self-striping yarn in my stash to join in on the Stockinette Zombie’s self-striping knit along for 2022. Using yarn that had previously been a shawl that didn’t work great for me! And then, being me, I’ve been expanding the shawl to be bigger based on how much yarn I have left.
I wanted some basic slippers. Sarah admired my library slippers with the fuzzy top and the padding in the bottom, so I wanted those to be elements of these socks too. I did short row toes and heels similar to Knitty’s Twinkle toes and then added eyelets so a piece of yarn could be woven…
