This is the long version of the cowl. It is 50” and harmonizes both chevron and lacy feather and fan into a happy cowl that can be worn looped long or doubled up.

Started for Madrona trip. 2.5mm needles were just too loose after completing the toe. Bought 2.25 Chiagaoo needles while there and started again. Much better! Adjusting the pattern to match my gauge and the yarn being slightly lighter. Plus, doing them toe-up. used TDTU heel from @KnittingRN, and started rib in center of the rows…
Single crochet with handle area.
I started with the pattern for Pioneer and did the bottom part of it differently with a waistband done by picking up stitches vertically. I did the skirt twice because I was unhappy with how much increase I did the first time. Used more crochet on this than I thought I could!
