Purple Snow

the cast on is tricky. I kept trying to rotate the work (ala a sock toe) instead of turn. envision making rainbow shaped arcs with the 5-stitch on each end as the tips of the rainbow. Worked on this for one evening, then knitting in, and then I decided I wanted to wear it the…

Chloe Dress/Tunic

Wanted something that would work as a baby dress this summer and then be a tunic as she gets older. Adjusted the pattern to work in the round, be more full of a dress, and have ties instead of shoulder straps. Lace is slightly askew on part of the skirt but it’s not too noticeable….

Adjusting the pattern to match my gauge and the yarn being slightly lighter. Plus, doing them toe-up. used TDTU heel from @KnittingRN, and started rib in center of the rows…

under the dripdrops

This was knit as a sample for the IDP program with one of the new colors of Chroma Fingering. The colorway is Guppy, and it certainly had a Little Mermaid feel to it (my husband said he kept getting “Under the Sea” stuck in his head!). The color transitions are beautiful with the drop stitches!…

Urban Happy

A springy happy version of Urbanity. The Lilt Sock is slightly lighter than the Trinity Sock, so it made a more airy fabric, by just a touch. The silk makes it luxurious. The drop stitches worked up so nice in this yarn too.
