This was my first attempt at lace knitting and dropping stitches.
I was worried about my cast on not being loose enough, so I found and used Eunny’s "lace cast on". I also used a different bind off, but I don’t recall which one right now.
The pattern was very simple – knit knit knit knit until it’s time to drop. 🙂 Then it was a special row. There were also instructions for blocking, which I had never done.

Started for zk2020 at home. Knitting in laceweight and will make it larger than the pattern written.
stitch gauge: 17.5 st/4” row gauge: 8 rows/1” August 13, 2016 ripped out the short rows on the bodice and reknit only one wrap and turn to make it pooch less on the sides. 19g taken out. still needs the ties laced up tight, but much better. #stashdash2016 !
short sleeve, cuffs and button band using the dyed yarn. rest will be handspun, alternating skeins.
Used up 6 skeins of Simply Cotton to make 5 washclothes, a hand towel, and a small towel for baby Liam. Used this to practice my crocheting.
2 at a time on 2 circs, made 4 purses all together. Finished 10/16, need braided ties.
Started on the diagonal and added random stripes of doubled Shine + Sparkles. Did the yarns doubled for the fringe as well. Simple and easy!
