Saw this yarn on instagram from the dyer, Ana (@toiltrouble) and had to get it because it was my wedding colors. The yarn is a little more vibrant in person! (which could make people think I’m a football fan – yellow and purple is I think Husky color in Washington)

Decided to knit it up in my Wren shawl pattern because that shows off variegated yarns so nicely with the different row length for each section.

Cast on 8/23 to bring on my anniversary trip (by design!) and made it through the first tier by the time we returned on 8/27.

Finished with only inches to spare after crochet edging. May still lightly overdye to tone down yellow, so it’s not yet blocked.
