This was a delightful way to learn basic entrelac. I really like how it turned out, and the colors make me happy every time I wipe off the counter.
After the news that Huckleberry Knits, one of my favorite Northwest-y dyers is no longer going to be dying, I chose my final braid of her fiber from my stash to spin up. I purchased this the last time I went to OFFF with E and Leah. This is one of Scarlet’s Hamilton colorways, from…
yarn from the first ZK I attended!
began on the train to ZK. picked back up for the flight home. made it over half way on edging at the fort on the fourth. edging used backwards knitting technique.
used the rest of my sock yarn to make a wrap bracket. mostly 5-stitch I-cord with a cool crochet chain (thicker by sc in each previous stitch) at the end and a loop for easier wearing. couldn’t let my fav colorway go to waste even though the socks were done!
