Kristine in the Fall socks
Started out the toes of these socks on the way to Morrocan food with my podcaster friends.
9/29: Continued to knit on them the following Wednesday at knitting, and forgot the stitch pattern I was going to do on the foot. So I just kept working stockingette for 1 1/2” after the toe.
Started the decided stitch pattern, worked it for 2-3” more.
10/14: And it just wasn’t showing off the yarn! ripped back these 2-3”.
10/16: Converting this to Rachel’s TDTU sock pattern because how better to show off the yarn than simplicity! And I want to try that heel.
Yes, the foot of one sock is darker than the other; I worked from both sides of a skein, so it evened out as it went up the leg.
Worked on these slowly between other stuff until the very end! Finished mid-November, in time to wear for thanksgiving.
