Constructed this handspun especially for this project, turned 6oz of multicolored roving into a gradient by separating up the colors and then spinning them roughly in order with adding pops of the other colors into the others. Not as crisp as some handspun contrast might be, but I really like the effect. Started the handspun…
Lining with dark fabric with a golden thread through it. Still need to make handles and sew them on.
started out during Lost, and moved along between other things today.
used the rest of my sock yarn to make a wrap bracket. mostly 5-stitch I-cord with a cool crochet chain (thicker by sc in each previous stitch) at the end and a loop for easier wearing. couldn’t let my fav colorway go to waste even though the socks were done!
Ripped out one end that was too ruffled and redid it 1.5 years later
A springy happy version of Urbanity. The Lilt Sock is slightly lighter than the Trinity Sock, so it made a more airy fabric, by just a touch. The silk makes it luxurious. The drop stitches worked up so nice in this yarn too.
