5st x 7rows pre blocking. eased up only a little on blocking, blocked flat not stretched.
This was my first attempt at lace knitting and dropping stitches. I was worried about my cast on not being loose enough, so I found and used Eunny’s "lace cast on". I also used a different bind off, but I don’t recall which one right now. The pattern was very simple – knit knit knit…
I found some self-striping yarn in my stash to join in on the Stockinette Zombie’s self-striping knit along for 2022. Using yarn that had previously been a shawl that didn’t work great for me! And then, being me, I’ve been expanding the shawl to be bigger based on how much yarn I have left.
Split goodie bag yarns between Julia and Jen, so we had 9 mini balls of the 9 different colors between us. Then we each picked out main color options from the market. I adapted mine to use more of the mini colors instead of stopping after the top portion. I added a floatier skirt once…
Added the rest of the yarn from Crockern Tor as the edging. Cast on for guthstorm in March and knit during ZK in June.
