Feather and Fan Lorna Scarf
Lorna bought the yarn, wanted a wide scarf that was fairly simple. Tried a variety of small variations on stockingette and stockingette on a bias, and everything still curled. settled on feather and fan instead, and this pattern was super easy.
Betiko ala Madrona
Cast on in train to Madrona! Top border: garter, 5” tall. Wedge: used for social knitting and did much further than necessary. slightly asymmetrical! Main section: began striping with the lavender yarn – 4 rows of lav, then 2 rows of main Bottom border: garter, 2 1/4” tall. striped with the lav yarn changing colors…
Basic dishcloth
This is the easiest dishcloth pattern, it knits up super quick and is really nice to use in the kitchen or give as gifts. I added stripes of a variegated yarn with a white base to give it a little extra specialness.
Little Bubbles set
Adjusted the colors from the original set: Fedora bubbles instead of aqua. And then used more of a graduated color for the stripes. First week of June: Finished sweater. This was knit as a sample for the IDP program with one of the new colors of Chroma Fingering. The colorway is Guppy, and it certainly had a Little Mermaid feel to it (my husband said he kept getting “Under the Sea” stuck in his head!). The color transitions are beautiful with the drop stitches!…
