I modified this pattern to be smaller since he was a preemie. I also carried a strand of Bernat Softee to make it use more of the color out of the booties that went along with it as a gift. I omitted the pompom and the top looked beautiful without it.
Making these for my niece. Update 2/18/08: Frogged and rerolled the yarn for my stash.
Taking one of my cherished skeins of yarn and making a nice lightweight tee to wear over summer clothes.
The final of the four Brea bags. I doubled the yarn. See the other 3 colors in my projects for how the handles turned out. I don’t have a finished picture for this one, just the other 3.
After viewing a variety of projects that used this pattern, I chose to make a 3 color version instead of two because that’s what I had. And it ended up that I was able to do a 3 color version with only 3 skeins instead of 4. Used the two-color brioche instructions for section 3….
