This was my first attempt at lace knitting and dropping stitches. I was worried about my cast on not being loose enough, so I found and used Eunny’s "lace cast on". I also used a different bind off, but I don’t recall which one right now. The pattern was very simple – knit knit knit…
My first magic loop for two at a time, so I could use my chiaogoo interchangeables. 4×4 rib, increased to 5×4 rib. changed to stockinette except one set of rib lines, where I played with some cables at the top of the leg warmer. Intention is to wear these with exercise socks and walking shoes…

I’m using two strands of homespun with one strand of premier. I started with 2 baroque strands, then changed to 1 purple and one tudor, and the 2 tudors, and so on. Update, end of October: I decided to make this longer, as I miscalculated the amount of premier I had (more than I thought),…
