start with 30 chain. HDC first row. DC, chain 2, DC every other HDC. Following rows, put DCs into chain stitches and alternate. Trim with HDC all the way around.

used shorter needle tips CO132 weight of yarn balls to start: 14g imagination, 30g 45degrees for Miles.
used less than a skein, but the end of the skein was underspend perhaps from being ripped too many times.
Use Comfy Sport for the crochet motifs, and weigh skeins. 6/23: knit 2 cashew panels, one large honey dew, and part way thru one large ivory. 6/25: finished all knitted panels, started on crochet test samples out of Comfy Sport. 6/27: knit 4 of the 8 crochet squares.
