guestimating yarn use. Didn’t have the colors to make it a true Jayne hat, but it’s cute. I used the Sport weight to crochet an edging around the earflaps since it was a little lighter weight.

gauge swatch relaxed just a touch (25st/4” to 24st/4”, while pattern called for 26). I’m knitting a 38” bust (to account for that difference; I’m closer to 40) and increasing to 50” hip. increased number of rows of twisted ribbing on the top, and then an extra bit of gray before starting the color. did…
Cast on 2 triangles at a time. Weekend of 2/19-2/22, started and finished striping section. Accidentally seamed up the wrong sections of the triangles to make one LARGE triangle instead of a paralellagram.
pattern is not in database yet. need to weigh remainder yarn, it was about 3 1/2 skeins. May or may not do the flower, may also add a ribbon to the top to tie. listed September 18, 2010.
