guestimating yarn use. Didn’t have the colors to make it a true Jayne hat, but it’s cute. I used the Sport weight to crochet an edging around the earflaps since it was a little lighter weight.

Wanted something that would work as a baby dress this summer and then be a tunic as she gets older. Adjusted the pattern to work in the round, be more full of a dress, and have ties instead of shoulder straps. Lace is slightly askew on part of the skirt but it’s not too noticeable….
9/6 update: I rock. In the time it took to watch Speed, I did 1.25 heels. That’s faster than ever, and the stitches look perfect. I took a break from these to work on one of my many planned Christmas presents, so they’ll take longer than if I were working non-stop, but they are coming…

Started out as just a long rectangle. Blocked and had longer loops on the back. These longer loops looked silly, so i took them out. Now I’ve made the rectangle a little longer and added a duster-like back attached to give it a little more oomph. My style person (sister Megan) may not approve of…
