guestimating yarn use. Didn’t have the colors to make it a true Jayne hat, but it’s cute. I used the Sport weight to crochet an edging around the earflaps since it was a little lighter weight.

Finally making socks out of the yarn from Sock Summit 2011! Found this pattern/recipe on Just One More Row’s stripey sock threads. Used my normal JMCO + Cat Bordhi toe, 2 at a time on 2 circs. Learned the Sweet Tomato heel. Bound off with a picot bind off. Submitted to Knitabulls stripey sock knitalong
June socks due to counting issues, each heel ended up being knitted twice. not the same counting issues, but the 2 stitches that were different between them wasn’t enough to rip back further than the heels, it just interfered with my FLKH enough that they needed tweaking. started for my flight on #kdlbadventure. bound off…

this is only 360yds, so it will be a little shorter than suggested unless I decide to use a contrast color for the bottom edge. Chose other deep stash as complementary color. Amy ToadyJoe said it reminded her of a cherry blossom tree in bloom and I have to agree! size 6. BO 4/26/2013
