guestimating yarn use. Didn’t have the colors to make it a true Jayne hat, but it’s cute. I used the Sport weight to crochet an edging around the earflaps since it was a little lighter weight.

Finished, December 8, redid the head between Christmas and New Years. Made this slightly bigger because Jon’s head was bigger than some peoples. Adjusted the stripes to be larger instead of repeaty. I modified this pattern to be smaller since he was a preemie.   I also carried a strand of Bernat Softee to make it use more of the color out of the booties that went along with it as a gift.  I omitted the pompom and the top looked beautiful without it.
