holding yarn double. the very oldest yarn in my stash, no stitch definition AT ALL.
Bought a selection of colors seen in nature and supplemented it with what was left in my baby yarn stash of the same base. Picked hexagons for being from the “Bee” family and game inspired because a lot of board games use hexes too. Most of the hexagons are a unique set of 3 colors….
gauge swatch relaxed just a touch (25st/4” to 24st/4”, while pattern called for 26). I’m knitting a 38” bust (to account for that difference; I’m closer to 40) and increasing to 50” hip. increased number of rows of twisted ribbing on the top, and then an extra bit of gray before starting the color. did…

March 26, 2016 did more stripes progressively each stripe section, with the final stripe section use the rest of the Galactic. April 14, 2016 added a few random stripes at the end!
