I started with the pattern for Pioneer and did the bottom part of it differently with a waistband done by picking up stitches vertically. I did the skirt twice because I was unhappy with how much increase I did the first time.
Used more crochet on this than I thought I could!

co 48st in round, 2×2 rib. may add cables? top will be higher textured version of the yarn to fold over boot tops.
first try on needles was too tight. stayed with needle size B for the entire tubular cast on, which was a touch loose when all was said and done, but way stretchier.
