Finished, December 8, redid the head between Christmas and New Years. Made this slightly bigger because Jon’s head was bigger than some peoples. Adjusted the stripes to be larger instead of repeaty. Can’t wait to see how it fits! This pattern was really easy, and definitely what’s I’d recommend for a basic hat. Full changes…
2 at a time on 2 circs, made 4 purses all together. Finished 10/16, need braided ties.
Cast on like I was doing a Tier of Ruffles and then changed it as I’ve gone along. Seems like it will turn into a boat-neck shape with a ribbon, and then float out from there with increases. Found Ribbon in my stash and turned down the edge to sew the ribbon inside. Blocking nicely.
I found some self-striping yarn in my stash to join in on the Stockinette Zombie’s self-striping knit along for 2022. Using yarn that had previously been a shawl that didn’t work great for me! And then, being me, I’ve been expanding the shawl to be bigger based on how much yarn I have left.
