road to health, part one

Laceweight version, held single throughout for a light and airy scarf size clapotis.

may have only done 6 repeats of the increase section, instead of 6 MORE, or 7 total. based on a rough count of the finished product.

41 total dropped stitches. I repeated the straight section until I got a rough idea of the length I wanted.

Instead of stitch markers, purl the stitch to be dropped. This gives a visual guide instead of having to slip so many markers. On the wrong side, knit the stitch to be dropped; on either side of this stitch, p tbl. This makes the tbl stitch twisted on every row instead of just the front, and keeps the column neater. This is for my sister, who is doing a health plan with me. I knit positive energy for all of the changes it is making in our lives. I knit some during a health conference we attended. Began on my Christmas trip to CA when I was about to be challenged with my health plan (it all worked out fine!). I hope to make a second scarf for me, perhaps slightly wider to fit my style (hence the “part one” in the name).
