April sweater March 27, 2016 joined fronts and back and started working one piece flat.
Making out of leftover and new Shine Sport in a stripey pattern. Cast on with a lace scallop pattern to make the bottom edge special. Made longer than the pattern and did a little shaping to make it flare slightly at the waist. The top straps are alternating colors (pink on front, green on back)…
using 2 sets of circular needles. Making 2 cowls for sale.
starting weights: Moody Blues 116g, French Kiss 117g, Stellar 104g.
wound skein into ball, cast on. After a misstart with the lace design (creating on the fly), ripped out and started back on the garter portion. turning out much nicer! Name TBA! Used less than full skein of yarn. Wren is named for a little bird. It’s a little shawlet with W’s in it like…
