I made a set of potholders for my mother-in-law for just a nice gift for letting us come and stay at their house for a week.
Cast on like I was doing a Tier of Ruffles and then changed it as I’ve gone along. Seems like it will turn into a boat-neck shape with a ribbon, and then float out from there with increases. Found Ribbon in my stash and turned down the edge to sew the ribbon inside. Blocking nicely.
Cast on for the Gilmore Girls Revival! brioche rib over 12st. Kitchenered with a twist.
I started out with size 7 needle and k1p1 knit and it was too dense so I switched to size 10 and it was perfect. I taught myself to knit continential with this scarf. When gifting this, I made a flower to tie it up, and that turned out very pretty.
Lining with dark fabric with a golden thread through it. Still need to make handles and sew them on.
This was my first pair of socks, and I used this pattern because it was on the shelf as a free tear off, and I knew I couldn’t go as wrong by buying the yarn specified in a pattern like this. I liked the colors a lot, I’m a big fan of valentine’s day. I…
