Urban Happy
A springy happy version of Urbanity. The Lilt Sock is slightly lighter than the Trinity Sock, so it made a more airy fabric, by just a touch. The silk makes it luxurious. The drop stitches worked up so nice in this yarn too.

Queue notes: See favorited by jknitma of stockinette zombies podcast, a little less negative ease looks great on her! Plus doing it in the round with just placket is nicer. Love it! 6/13: cast-on before knitting IN. 6/16: WWKIP in random places on errands. 6/20: bus/MAX knitting to PDX 6/21-22: car knitting to and from…
adapted to add a seed stitch button panel to the Barley pattern. bought the buttons at OFFF with the hope to make this hat and then found the yarn on destash 🙂
used the 40” size at the top and 48” at the bottom, with decreases/increases in the ribbing on both sizes. increased a little more for the bottom section once joining. split hem feature. Cast on so I could knit on this during the Zombie Knitpocalypse 2015. Didn’t make much of a dent until the flight…
swatched on several diff sized needles, and the larger swatch was so much more helpful to see this new technique. short rows are rockin’.
Using the basic structure of my Wren Shawl, I made a little one as a gift for a friend who loves dolls. Leftover yarn from my very first “real” socks.
improving to be toe-up. toe is upside down, using kfb as the increases. Added a few extra stitches to the bottom of the foot to account for the slightly lighter yarn. heel will be garter short row (see http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/garter-toes)
