  • Lifestories: lots of resting. spent much of the weekend in relaxing and playing. my youngest brother came for dinner and that was nice. a rain free day for my out-and-about tuesday! I want to CRAFT all the CRAFTS!
  • Yarnings: Adventures in Knitting
    • FO: coziboxi - the Worsted Boxy in an alpaca yarn. almost 1000 yards used.
    • new WIP: castles socks - riffing on a theme of hexagons for a stitch motif, not quite there yet.
    • new WIP: ValentinesAllYear sweater, using Christmas in July sweater as the base. basket of colors for the colorwork.
    • swatching alternate colors for my next design (sugarplum was 1st sample)
  • Yarnings: Spinning a Tale:
    • WIP: blue jeans. Three Fates Merino Nylon (superwash). very smooth and fine. may turn into a 2 ply heavy lace/light fingering.
    • recorded short video on how I spin
    • SAP: Kaylee's Parasol fiber from Hobbledehoy - Johanne had some great tips for how she spins them in last week's episode thread on the rav group!
  • Yarnings: Stitch Through Time:
    • english paper piecing secret project with smaller than before pieces. using templates from The New Hexagon, and still refining my skills from All Points Patchwork techniques. This one had me doing some math!
    • considering on a twin size quilt to enjoy in my exercise room to replace the blanket I've had in there.
  • Yarnings: Knitting Community:
    • KAL: thinking of upcoming KALs, there is interest in the thread from last week. if you are a small biz that wants to send a prize for this new KAL, feel free to contact me. Perhaps just another convokal, that works SO well!
    • upcoming: Rose City Yarn Crawl, beginning of March. Gamestorm, where I'll be knitting and gaming, end of March. Zombie Knitpocalypse, beginning of June
  • Sagas of Geekery: Now Playing: boardgamegeek:
    • played The Great Heartland Hauling Company when my brother came for dinner. Istanbul and Race for the Galaxy on Saturday.
    • using BG Stats app for tracking - in January, I had 14 plays, with 12 games represented.
    • played a few levels of Flow, part of the Journey collection, for PS3 - it's beautiful!
  • Sagas of Geekery: Now Watching:Farscape. Alias, on season 3 now. Green Lantern. Agent Carter.
  • Sagas of Geekery: Now Reading: Armada by Ernest Cline, narrated by Wil Wheaton. I'm kdlb on goodreads.
  • Fanciful Chatter: looking forward to new Perfectly Posh product release, and hoping to grab a few of the discontinued things as well. Adding a link to my party to the ravelry group thread for this episode. My necklace and bobby pins are from World Market.
  • Book of Cooking: Imagine(ary) soup with grilled cheese. Yams, rice, and chicken. Pumpkin pancakes and seasoned hash browns.
  • Happiness Continues. colored pens make me smile when I use them.
