I had to do a little more writing out which rows had arm or neck decreases so I was sure to be in the correct place (especially with t-a-a-t) but it\u2019s going smoothly now. One of the original balls of yarn is visibly darker, so not only am I doing t-a-a-t, but I\u2019m also striping to try and make it not such a big jump!<\/p>\n<p>11\/6: after the lecture by Ysolda at Happy Knits and rereading the sizing section of the book, I decided to do a little bit of bust darting, over 12 rows. Worked like a charm after I mapped it all out, row by row, on my paper first!<\/p>\n<p>11\/5: bought 2 more skeins of the yarn. It\u2019s the super wash version and the first wasn\u2019t, so it will definitely be striped in. But now I can not worry about running and perhaps even lengthen it. (and maybe a set of wristers to match!<\/p>\n<p>10\/28: Started on the Yarn Harlot book tour and will work on during Ysolda\u2019s 11\/5 visit to Portland.<\/p>\n<p>swatched carefully, even washed the swatch to be sure.
