I used a stitch pattern book to find the nicest rib for this soft soft scarf. It’s a long skinny scarf ith a lot of fringe, but really warm from the boucle.
used the rest of my sock yarn to make a wrap bracket. mostly 5-stitch I-cord with a cool crochet chain (thicker by sc in each previous stitch) at the end and a loop for easier wearing. couldn’t let my fav colorway go to waste even though the socks were done!
Mercy Me’s Beautiful comes to mind: Days will come when you don’t have the strength And all you hear is you’re not worth anything Wondering if you ever could be loved And if they truly saw your heart they’d see too much You’re beautiful You’re beautiful You are made for so much more than all…
commissioned scarf (white with sequins was requested, doing sparkle yarn with silver beads) 9/15: currently ~30” unblocked using size 6/0 silver lined beads with superfloss to add them on each stitch. used just over 200 beads (217?) size 4. Added picot crochet with beads to each edge (slightly like “Crochet Edgings & Trims” page 26).
Lorna bought the yarn, wanted a wide scarf that was fairly simple. Tried a variety of small variations on stockingette and stockingette on a bias, and everything still curled. settled on feather and fan instead, and this pattern was super easy.
