This is a prototype for a dishcloth. I’d like to write it up as a pattern, but first I’d like to make some adjustments to make the center hole smaller. I love how the long “rays” of sun go around.
Added the rest of the yarn from Crockern Tor as the edging. Cast on for guthstorm in March and knit during ZK in June.
Lorna bought the yarn, wanted a wide scarf that was fairly simple. Tried a variety of small variations on stockingette and stockingette on a bias, and everything still curled. settled on feather and fan instead, and this pattern was super easy.
My first magic loop for two at a time, so I could use my chiaogoo interchangeables. 4×4 rib, increased to 5×4 rib. changed to stockinette except one set of rib lines, where I played with some cables at the top of the leg warmer. Intention is to wear these with exercise socks and walking shoes…
From Brioche Chic book.
